San Jose, CA – Regal Electronics announces its new line of Single and Dual Port USB 3.0 connectors
USB 3.0 is the latest Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard. Often referred to as SuperSpeed USB most new computers and devices being manufactured today support USB 3.0.
USB 3.0 supports data transfer rates of up to and beyond 5GB/s (gigabytes per second). In addition to the increase in speed, USB 3.0 is also optimized for low power and improved protocol efficiency. USB 3.0 ports and cabling are backward-compatible with previous USB standard technologies including 1.0 and 2.0.
